Night Stop: Denali NP // Denali Hostel & Cabins
Today is FILLED with animals and sweeping landscapes! We start the day with a dogsled demo in the park, then board the bus that goes to Eielson Visitor Center - an 8-10 hour, 132 mile round-trip adventure! In addition to the scheduled stops, we can jump on/off the bus at anytime to go explore on our own. Inside the park is pristine wilderness - meaning it does NOT have any marked trails - so we can truly experience the nature as intended. We have a potential of joining a ranger-led hike, but will have to be flexible as those trips are coveted and space is limited. If we decide on this option, our dogsled demo will have to be rescheduled. We enjoy a pizza dinner that evening, along with a few drinks and cornhole!
Activity Options: Dogsled demo; Eielson VC shuttle bus; hiking
“This place, the land is more ancient and pure; it’s like a concentrated tonic for the soul. If you take too much it can infect you, and if you don’t take enough you have missed it completely and your efforts were in vain.”
