Night Stop: Coldfoot // Slate Creek Inn
Today we head off even further North, taking the Dalton Highway up to the Arctic Circle. During the day, we will stop by the visitor center as well as seek out Jack Reakoff in the unusually tiny town of Wiseman. If he is around, you will be amazed by his stories and home. Fingers crossed! We will stay overnight in Coldfoot, but return to Wiseman later in the evening to seek out the Northern Lights (no light pollution!)

Night Stop: Denali Hwy // MacLaren River Lodge
Susie, Amy + Alan
We begin our journey South today, heading on the Richardson Highway, following the Trans-Alaska Pipeline as it twists and turns in and out of sight. We will stop at many viewpoints/places of interest along the way, finishing our day on the Denali Highway. Our hosts tonight are Susie + Alan Echols at the MacLaren River Lodge, and we will be treated to a lovely stay and meals. Time permitting, we just may be able to get out on the river for a boat ride…otherwise, we will enjoy a relaxing evening in this gorgeous setting. Another perfect day!
